As many of you know, my husband Cory has become quite the carpenter! He has had 5 years of experience doing any home building/remodeling jobs you can think of! Not to mention, Cory has the best work ethic I've ever seen! Cory is in the process of becoming a Building Construction Specialist and obtaining an Alabama builders license. We are also putting together a portfolio of some of his excellent work! So if you or someone you know is need of Cory's services along the Gulf Coast, please contact us!

Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, Owen Michael Davis was christened! Most of my family and friends were all able to attend. It was a beautiful ceremony. Owen whimpered as the water from the seashell trickled over his head. I have to give much thanks to Pastor George Myers, who christened both Cade and Owen. He is a wonderful man who always leaves me thinking after he speaks. Also to St. Andrew's By The Sea! It is the most beautiful church on the Gulf Coast with beautiful people inside as well!

Owen's Christening

On Sunday, February 24th, Owen will be Christened. It will be held at St. Andrew's Church in Gulf Shores, AL. Cory and I will make a promise to the church and to God that we will raise Owen in the church and teach him to follow the gospel. Wish everyone could be there but I will take plenty of pictures!

I'm a kid in a candy store

Politics bore me and I have never really cared. But like most, I am into this election and I care! But....I have no idea who I am voting for! Is anyone else out there still undecided? I have always called myself a Republican but I took an online quiz which pairs you to which candidate closely matches your beliefs. Guess what! It paired with me Obama with Clinton not far behind! Now I am just more confused! All I know is I want a change to occur and I think each candidate will do just that. I just have to decide which "change" I want! I feel like a kid in a candy store! I can't make up my mind!

Owen is one month old! (2-3-08)

Well, the first month of Owen's life is complete. It went by sooo fast! It has been a joyful experience learning Owen. Let's just say, he has kept things quite exciting! He turned over from belly to back for the first time today! I can't wait to see what he does next!

I have no idea how to do this whole blog thing but I will try! I do not live near my family and I hardly ever get to see my friends. I keep in touch with many people through myspace but for those who are not into the myspace thing I did this for you! Now everyone can keep in touch with what is happening in the Davis Family.
